Clearway Speaker Profile

Elisabeth Lunman is a national traffic engineer at the Swedish Transport Administration and responsible for managing the authority's regulations for temporary traffic and safety devices. 

She is responsible for developing requirements that contribute to a safe traffic environment for both road users and workers. Her role also includes supporting projects in situations where the regulatory requirements cannot be fully applied, while ensuring that the associated risks are identified and managed in a systematic manner. 

With a background in the construction industry and over 20 years of experience as a traffic engineer, Elisabeth has deep experience in temporary traffic devices and safety during road works. In her role, she collaborates with contractors, manufacturers, other actors and authorities in Sweden and the Nordic countries to develop practical and appropriate regulation.
